Meet Lindy – “my skin was scaly on my legs and my feet would crack, now my skin is much more hydrated”

A change in our environment can drive a change in our skin… Lindy found this when she moved to South Australia – her skin became dehydrated, scaly and cracked.
After seeing Ecology Skincare in her Facebook feed, Lindy decided to give the Ecology Creams a go and they’re keeping her skin soft and hydrated.
She’s even noticing her fine lines are softer and that her skin looks and feels younger and brighter.
Here’s Lindy’s story…
“I am 61 years old and spent most of my life in Victoria, but now live in South Australia.
I am a Chaplain and I am passionate about encouraging people in their spiritual walk and praying with and for people. I also have a Naturopathic background and very interested in whole being wellness.
South Australia is a much dryer climate than Victoria.
Before I started using the Ecology Creams, my skin was scaly on my legs and showing signs of dryness and lack of hydration.
My feet would crack for the first time ever and I had dry skin in the corners of my eyes.
BUT no more.
I now use the Ecology Daily Moisturiser under my sunscreen, then make up every day.
I use the Ecology Soothing Baby Moisturising Cream on my feet and forearms every day and sometimes lower legs.
I use the Ecology Rejuvenating Day & Night Cream every night on my face and décolletage every night.
My skin is much more hydrated – very important after living here in South Australia for 3 ½ years. Much less dryness and chafing.
Skin feels and looks much younger and brighter.
My fair skin doesn’t age as well as others I have noticed, but the Ecology products have helped a lot.
My hands look so much better too!!! …smoother, less wrinkles and takes time, but will clear up any eczema like spots I sometimes get when out in the sun.

We were on Kandgaroo Island doing a project with ADRA to do health checks for the community and give out food parcels to those in need.
We also had some time visiting amazing beaches and a local honey business.”

Grass-fed tallow is a gently rendered fat (like emu oil), but it comes from healthy, grass-fed cows

Grass-fed tallow might be ‘little known’ now… but everyone from the Aboriginal Australians to our great grandmothers used to use traditional animal fats like tallow, for everything from burns and chafing to blisters and wound healing.
And the reason why grass-fed tallow is so amazing for skin?
- It really closely mimics fats and oils found naturally in healthy, youthful skin.
- It contains fat soluble vitamins A, D, E & K …all of which are crucial for healthy skin (some of these are also antioxidants)
- It’s balanced in omega 3’s and 6’s …both are important for healthy skin
So this means grass-fed tallow can help replace missing lipids (the natural fats and oils) in skin’s outer layer …keeping moisture IN and allergens and irritants OUT.
…and helping to soften dry skin and leave it looking plump and well hydrated.
Not only that, as we get older, our skin produces less of those lipids (the fats and oils) that keep it soft, supple and youthful looking.
…so grass-fed tallow is putting back what time takes away.
So why is it the big brand moisturisers fail to really nourish super dry skin?
It’s because big brand moisturisers are typically 50-80% water (or aqua)
Take a look and you’ll see water as a first ingredient in many of these products.
But this means, there’s only 20-50% left for the skin nourishing ingredients.
Compare this to the Ecology Moisturisers..
they’re are 100% natural fats and oils (no water), so they’re highly concentrated to better soften skin and smooth out the look of fine lines.
